Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen items using commercial dishwashers or manual washing methods.
• Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and free of food residue.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage spaces.
• Clean and sanitize dishwashing equipment and storage areas regularly.
• Dispose of trash and recycling according to hotel policies.
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware in designated areas.
• Assist with basic food prep tasks when needed, such as peeling vegetables, chopping ingredients, or organizing supplies.
• Help keep the kitchen workstations clean and organized.
• Notify supervisors when kitchen supplies are running low.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory as needed.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that clean dishes and utensils are available at all times for food preparation and service.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to support the flow of operations.
