Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a kitchen teammate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines. The role involves following the menu plan, prepping ahead, and keeping areas clean and stocked for service.

You'll operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment, ensure proper temperatures, and support FIFO inventory. This position supports catering functions and upholds Opaa!’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and menus.
• Basic arithmetic for meal counts and serving portions.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines.
• Set up serving lines, track temperatures, and stock milk coolers.
• Assist in food prep per menu and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate available kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work and service areas throughout shift.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and assist with dishwashing and cleanup.
