Banners Kitchen & Tap in Boston, MA is seeking a part-time Porter to support front- and back-of-house operations. You will receive, store, and manage restaurant supplies, with opportunities to assist in other kitchen roles to help the team succeed.

Responsibilities include reviewing deliveries, stocking supplies, maintaining logs, and performing inventory. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• One to three months of stock clerk/steward experience preferred.
• Basic math skills for unit conversions and calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• No experience or diploma required.

Responsabilités

• Monitor deliveries; analyze invoices; inspect products for quality, temperature and condition.
• Receive, open, unpack, and stock supplies to shelves, racks, tables and service stations.
• Maintain receiving log and track deliveries and missing items.
• Take inventory to identify items to reorder or replenish.
• Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas; ensure equipment is clean and in good repair.
