Job summary

Delaware North at TD Garden in Boston, MA, is seeking a part-time Porter to support front- and back-of-house operations. You will receive, store, and stock restaurant supplies while assisting in other kitchen roles as needed to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• Previous stock clerk/steward experience (1–3 months) is highly preferred.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping.
• No experience or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all deliveries; analyze invoices; inspect products for quality, temperature, and condition. Rotate food and beverage items properly; report faulty deliveries immediately.
• Receive, open, unpack, and stock new or transferred restaurant supplies to shelves, racks, tables, and service stations.
• Maintain receiving log by tracking deliveries and missing items.
• Take inventory to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas; ensure kitchen and dining equipment is clean and in good repair.
