Job summary

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring part-time Porters to join our team at Banners Kitchen and Tap in Boston, MA. Porters will receive, maintain, and stock front- and back-of-house restaurant supplies, stepping into other kitchen roles as needed to support the team.

The role offers hourly pay of $22.00–$24.00 with weekly pay and a benefits package including training, employee discounts, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• One to three months of previous stock clerk/steward or related experience is highly preferred.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units.
• Must have strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all deliveries; analyze invoices; inspect products for quality, temperature, and condition. Rotate food and beverage items.
• Receive, open, unpack, and stock new or transferred restaurant supplies to shelves, racks, and service stations.
• Maintain receiving log by tracking all deliveries and missing items.
• Take inventory to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas; ensure equipment is clean, sanitary, and in good repair.
