Job summary

NutTree Guernsey Limited is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team at Cobo Bay Hotel. This full-time role supports chefs and helps maintain a clean, efficient kitchen in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include dishwashing, general cleaning, basic prep, stock handling, and assisting during busy service periods. On-site accommodation is available if required. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen areas, floors and storage areas clean and tidy.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation.
• Ensure rubbish and recycling are disposed of correctly.
• Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Support with deliveries and stock storage.
• Keep equipment and work areas organized.
• Follow food and health & safety procedures.
• Support during busy service periods.
