Job summary

Maman is looking for a Porter to help maintain cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow across kitchen, service, and storage areas. You will work with the BOH team to support daily operations in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, café or bakery environment is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishpit, café, restroom, and service areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and cookware promptly and replenish stock.
• Assist with trash and recycling removal according to health and safety standards.
• Support Kitchen Leader and BOH with basic prep tasks and storage organization.
• Receive and store deliveries; ensure storage areas are clean and compliant with food safety regulations.
• Restock supplies such as paper goods and cleaning materials.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties.
• Follow all food safety and health guidelines.
• Perform ad hoc tasks to support daily operations.
