Job summary

City Barbeque, LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager/Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations, forecast demand, and maintain product quality. The role involves leading a kitchen team, ensuring health standards, and collaborating with the front of house to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

You will drive staffing, training, and performance, while upholding company standards and cost controls across shifts, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced BBQ environment.

Qualifications

• Assist with selecting and hiring kitchen staff.
• Train and develop the best teammates.
• Maintain appropriate Kitchen staffing levels for each shift.
• Conduct timely Performance Reviews and assist with wage changes.
• Develop certified trainers in kitchen.
• Ensure standards are followed in line with kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations and ensure proper production and line checks.
• Maintain Health Department and third‑party standards at all times.
• Forecast sales and manage food usage to meet budgeted goals.
• Control labor costs through efficient scheduling and staffing.
• Train staff on new product rollouts and recipes.
• Support FOH team to ensure excellent guest experience.
