Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Relevant Experience Required
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and present information to customers and employees
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic; compute rates, ratios, and percentages
• Reasoning Ability: Follow instructions; solve routine problems
• Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: List includes various kitchen equipment and software
• License(s)/Certification(s) Required: Serve Safe Certification; additional certifications may vary by state

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day kitchen operations to meet Opaa! standards and safety regulations.
• Monitor food quality, sanitation, and customer service; resolve complaints.
• Coordinate meal preparation and transportation to satellite buildings where applicable.
• Supervise kitchen staff; train, delegate, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness, production records, inventory, and FIFO practices.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, HHFKA, CACFP, and state/local requirements.
