Job summary

Tasty Chick’n is seeking a Kitchen Manager/Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager by managing production targets and upholding brand standards across all operations. You will train and coach A+ talent, oversee scheduling, food safety, inventory, and expense controls while maintaining exceptional customer service and team morale.

This role requires ServSafe, flexibility, and travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in restaurant operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights and holidays.
• Willingness to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage staff through training, coaching, and recognition of A+ talent.
• Execute the Performance Management processes and ensure accountability.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on employee relations and legal compliance.
• Train teams on food preparation, safety standards, and customer service.
• Schedule all operational periods with proper staffing.
• Model customer-focused behavior and address concerns.
• Monitor KPIs and inventory to ensure product availability and quality.
• Ensure food safety standards during shifts.
• Support with cost controls and margin targets.
• Review financials and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
