Job summary

Slim Chickens is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure outstanding guest service. You will supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff, oversee cash handling, inventory, and compliance with safety and company policies.

In this role you will report to the General Manager, coordinate scheduling, and help drive financial results through effective team leadership and customer experience. This position requires flexibility and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to meet quality, service, and sanitation standards.
• Manage and supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff.
• Assign and direct daily work responsibilities for staff.
• Order inventory to ensure appropriate product levels.
• Reconcile cash registers at open and close of each shift.
• Maintain records per company policies and state/federal laws.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies, standards, and safety regulations.
• Recruit and train staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching.
