Texas Roadhouse in Mattoon, IL is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations, ensure quality and safety, and manage food costs and scheduling.

You will train staff, conduct performance reviews, interview candidates, and uphold our core values and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervising production and preparation of food per recipes and procedures.
• Enforce employment policies and oversee cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to maintain efficient ticket times.
• Manage back-of-house staff performance and coaching.
• Conduct line Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory safety.
• Oversee proper handling, storage, and safety procedures.
• Manage food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs.
• Direct scheduling and task assignments before, during, and after open hours.
• Train staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Review applications and hire or recommend hires for BOH staff.
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with values.
