Job summary

MAP Brewing Company is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen team, ensure quality and safety, and work closely with the General Manager on staffing, training, and menu development.

The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch, locally sourced dishes in the tasting room. Training staff on new recipes and maintaining SOPs are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Kitchen management experience is required, including team leadership.
• Experience managing 10+ staff is preferred.
• Understanding of restaurant operations and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and staffing.
• Manage day-to-day scheduling and ensure adequate coverage.
• Update daily menu changes in systems and coordinate with management.
• Develop and test new menu items and specials; run by management.
• Train new staff and maintain SOPs for consistency.
• Ensure recipes are written and staff is trained on preparation.
