Job summary

The Kitchen Manager at Jalapeño Tree in Longview, TX leads back-of-house operations with a focus on food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will manage BOH scheduling, food and supply orders, inventory control, and cost of goods, while coaching staff and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

This role requires 2+ years of kitchen management experience in a full-service restaurant, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with POS systems (Aloha) and restaurant software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Assistant Manager in a full-service restaurant.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of food and beverage laws and health regulations.
• Proficiency with POS and restaurant systems (Aloha, Compeat) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage inventory, food safety, and BOH labor schedules.
