Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations and be responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to recipes and procedures.

The role requires supervising a restaurant kitchen, ensuring safety and cleanliness, managing staff performance, and driving efficient production. A comprehensive benefits package follows after 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient and timely food item ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting with development of key employees and hourly staff through daily feedback
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety in the kitchen
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Practicing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House staff, setting hours, and assigning tasks
• Training Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications and hiring or recommending hires for Back of House roles
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
