Job summary

Bubba’s 33, part of the Texas Roadhouse brand family, is seeking a rockstar Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food per recipes and procedures.

As Kitchen Manager you will supervise production, enforce policies, manage staff performance, and control costs while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Oversee back-of-house production and prep per recipes and procedures.
• Enforce employment policies and ensure restaurant safety and cleanliness.
• Monitor ticket times and monitor food item speed and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times
• Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting with the development of key employees, assistant managers, and hourly staff with daily feedback
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety responsibilities
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules
• Training Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hires
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
