Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food to specifications.

The role entails supervising BOH production, enforcing policies, driving efficiency in ticket times, and developing staff while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the kitchen. A strong commitment to our values is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting development of key employees and hourly staff with daily feedback during one-on-ones
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety responsibilities
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
• Directing work for Back of House employees, setting hours, creating weekly schedules, and assigning tasks
• Training Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hires
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
