Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, and food preparation in line with recipes and procedures. This role focuses on maintaining safety, sanitation, and quality while driving cost controls in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in accordance with recipes.
• Enforce compliance with employment policies and ensure restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient ticket times.
• Managing Back of House employees through evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Developing key employees via daily feedback during one-on-ones.
• Conducting Line Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety.
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items.
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs.
• Scheduling Back of House staff and assigning tasks.
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Reviewing applications and hiring Back of House staff.
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with values.
