Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes and procedures. You will supervise BOH staff, enforce employment policies, maintain safety and cleanliness, and drive on-time ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of guests
• Directing productivity to monitor and maintain efficient ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees and conducting evaluations
• Assisting with development of key employees and providing daily feedback
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Managing food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Setting hours, schedules, and assigning tasks for BOH staff
• Training BOH staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring BOH staff
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment in line with core values
