Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food in line with established recipes and procedures.

You will manage food costs, inventory, and safety while coaching staff, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and ensuring efficient ticket times to support legendary service and a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a kitchen or foodservice operation.
• Ability to lead and coach Back of House staff.
• Strong understanding of food safety and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production and preparation of food per recipes.
• Enforce employment policies and maintain restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Monitor ticket times and direct Back of House productivity.
• Manage performance, coaching, and discipline of staff.
• Conduct performance feedback during one-on-ones and train staff on equipment use.
• Oversee inventory, Taste & Temp checks, and proper food handling procedures.
• Control food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs.
• Schedule Back of House staff and assign tasks.
