Job summary

Parker's Kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Training to support the Kitchen Manager and oversee daily kitchen operations at a designated location. You will help maintain efficient systems, deliver excellent customer service, and contribute to employee development while upholding Parker's high standards.

You will step in for Kitchen Managers when needed, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for promotion to Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in food service operations.
• Completion of Food Safety Certification within the first month of employment.
• Completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment.
• Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and employees in a respectful, courteous manner.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts and generate cost of sales reports.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to manage labor costs by scheduling staff.
• Assist in enforcing the Safety and Health Policy and stock areas to maintain in‑stock conditions.
• Prepare made to order items per recipe or customer specs and ensure safe food handling.
