Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in Ballwin, MO is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of food while managing purchasing and receiving according to recipes and procedures.

You will lead Back of House staff, enforce safety and sanitation, monitor ticket times, control food and labor costs, train employees, and schedule shifts, while maintaining a safe, fun, clean work environment aligned with our core values.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Back of House staff and ensuring food safety compliance.
• Ability to manage food costs, waste and labor costs.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and preparation of food per recipes and procedures.
• Enforce policies and maintain restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to maintain efficient ticket times.
• Manage Back of House staff performance, coaching, and evaluations.
• Provide daily feedback and conduct line checks for inventory and safety.
• Supervise inventory handling, storage and proper food handling procedures.
• Direct scheduling, task assignment, and training of staff.
• Participate in hiring and development of key Back of House employees.
