Here’s What We Need

As a Torchy’s Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all Back of the House (BOH) operations, ensuring a safe and clean kitchen environment, and fostering a culture of excellence and passion for scratch-made food. You should be results-driven, self-motivated, and committed to developing team members.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing food costs, placing orders, updating pricing, and conducting inventories
  • Hiring, interviewing, and selecting BOH Team Members to ensure proper staffing
  • Creating and managing BOH team schedules to meet labor and sales targets
  • Ensuring adherence to recipes, proper weighing, recording production, and correct portioning
  • Using Mystery Shop and assessment results to improve operations and food quality
  • Communicating effectively with team members about goals and procedures
  • Motivating and leading team members in alignment with Torchy’s values
  • Running shifts and supporting daily store operations
  • Partnering with Learning & Development to ensure proper training and certification of BOH staff

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of kitchen management experience
  • State alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe Certifications
  • Strong understanding of training and development
  • Ability to foster teamwork and demonstrate leadership
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Effective time management skills
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to reach and stretch for objects at various heights
