Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Kitchen Manager to join our team in Chandler, AZ!
Position Summary
The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for leading the Culinary department, focusing on staffing, scheduling, training, cost control, food quality, operational procedures, sanitation, health compliance, and staff motivation.
This full-time salaried role includes bonuses. Ideal candidates will have experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants, be relocatable, and willing to travel to support other locations. AIKG is growing rapidly, offering significant career growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Culinary Department with integrity and purpose
- Empower staff to deliver exceptional service
- Support the company motto “Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence”
- Manage daily operations: food ordering, staffing, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and quality
- Ensure consistency in banquets, buffets, and event culinary offerings
- Ensure compliance with health and environmental regulations
- Develop Culinary Staff and Supervisors
- Manage staff training, employee relations, and morale
- Participate in recruitment and retention efforts
- Control labor and food costs within budgets
- Maintain site inspections standards
- Oversee food storage, kitchen, and service area organization and cleanliness
- Coordinate with Sales for event planning and scheduling
- Manage inventory and equipment of the Culinary Department

Qualifications
Required:
- Experience leading high-volume kitchens
- Strong communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years old
Preferred:
- 5+ years in kitchen management in high-volume settings
- Experience with private events and multi-unit management
- HACCP or ServSafe certification
- Bilingual abilities
- Proven leadership and team motivation skills
- Cost control expertise
Physical Requirements
- Stand or walk for extended periods
- Communicate effectively
- Lift up to 15 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Perform organizational tasks involving bending, reaching, climbing
- Work environment may include bright/dim lights and loud sounds
