Job Overview

We are seeking a Kitchen Manager for School Food Service to oversee food production and staff training at a large K-12 school cafeteria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding and applying the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs
  • Large-scale food preparation and equipment utilization
  • Meeting company expectations and food concepts
  • Maintaining production records and paperwork
  • Facilitating catered events as needed
  • Collaborating with regional chefs on recipes
Training Responsibilities
  • Training cafeteria staff on food production and equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to company standards and food concepts
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years staff management experience
  • Food service experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read recipes and perform basic math
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and background checks
