Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States seeks a Kitchen Leader who will learn to prepare delicious food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will help ensure quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, uphold food safety standards, and promote teamwork to deliver a great customer experience. You will also monitor equipment, manage inventory, and contribute to a safe, efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support team between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and repair when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventories.
