Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring for a Kitchen Leader. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring high quality and safety standards. You’ll order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, inventory, and proper equipment operation, while promoting teamwork and excellent customer service. This role emphasizes promoting a positive dining experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; arrange quick repairs when needed.
• Ensure that the kitchen and all Crew members meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
