Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will ensure dishes are delicious, order food, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader ensures quality and safety, keeps the kitchen clean and stocked, maintains equipment, and promotes teamwork to deliver a great customer experience. Candidates should have a high school diploma and restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Past restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures while cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and properly stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure kitchen safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS forms and inventory rotation (FIFO).
