Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in the United States to learn food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring delicious, high-quality results. You will train Crew members and help develop future Kitchen Leaders, with an emphasis on teamwork and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll keep the kitchen organized, safe, and stocked, monitor inventory, and maintain equipment to support smooth operations and fast service during

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained.
• Ensure equipment is in good repair and safe to use.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
