Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader at our Lexington, VA location. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensuring a safe, efficient kitchen and exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and mentoring teammates to meet station goals, with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Lead and train Crew; develop future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, stocked and equipment is maintained.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO procedures as applicable.
