Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Martinsville, VA is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling meats, and vegetable sautéing. You will order food, train Crew to become leaders, and ensure delicious, high-quality meals while maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness.

You will promote teamwork, support back-of-house and front-of-house operations, and help Crew reach station goals, guiding others to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Proficiency in basic English for work communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained equipment.
