Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in Ohio to learn, prepare great food, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality, safety, cleanliness, and proper stocking while modeling teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

The role emphasizes promoting teamwork, continuous learning, and leadership while you help the kitchen meet goals and maintain high standards of food safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair malfunctioning equipment quickly.
• Ensure that the kitchen and all Crew members meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
