Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader in Ohio to help prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train Crew members and ensure food quality, safety, and clean, well-stocked kitchens to deliver a great customer experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll lead by example, maintain equipment, control inventory, and collaborate with back-of-house and front-of-house teams to meet goals and promote teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Strong teamwork and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support team dynamics between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Maintain equipment and ensure repairs when needed.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill MSDS andInventory Rotation (FIFO).
