Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader helps ensure food quality and safety, keeps the kitchen clean and stocked, and maintains equipment. You’ll lead teammates, promote teamwork, and deliver an excellent customer experience every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized and well-maintained equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and MSDS/FIFO procedures are completed.
