Chipotle Mexican Grill in Illinois is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grilling meats, and vegetable sautéing. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient kitchen operation.

As a role model, you’ll promote teamwork, help achieve station goals, and support customers with excellent service. The position emphasizes a strong work ethic and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues.
• Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensuring kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and well maintained.
