Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grilling, and sautéing while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and maintain equipment in good condition.

As a role model, you’ll promote teamwork and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will lead by example, support a fast-paced service, and contribute to the restaurant’s success daily.

Qualifications

• Have restaurant experience.
• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and well maintained.
• Monitor equipment and ensure quick repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO for inventory management.
