Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Sanford, NC is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation, ensure quality and safety, train Crew members, and maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen. You’ll uphold kitchen procedures, monitor waste and inventory, and lead by example to deliver a great guest experience.

You'll work on a busy line, coordinate with back-of-house and front-of-house teams, and help Crew grow into future Kitchen Leaders while promoting teamwork and consistent performance.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to order.
• Ensure food quality by following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and well maintained.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO-related tasks.
