Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You’ll ensure a clean, organized kitchen, manage inventory, and uphold Chipotle’s food safety policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and delivering a great guest experience every day.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, sanitized, and well organized.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment; arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and injury prevention guidelines.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
