Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide daily food preparation, ensure quality and safety, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll manage cooking to order, maintain cleanliness, and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity standards while delivering a great guest experience.

You’ll collaborate with back and front-of-house teams, monitor inventory, and support a safe, efficient kitchen environment. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are required.

• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back- and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well maintained.
• Ensure equipment is in good repair and safe to use.
• Abide by safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO records.
