Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation, quality and safety in our kitchen. You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders and help ensure an efficient, high‑quality operation that delivers a great customer experience.

You will lead by example on the line, supervise teamwork between back of house and front of house, and keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and compliant with procedures.

Qualifications

• Must understand and articulate Chipotle9s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle9s policies and procedures in daily kitchen operations.
• Cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers for great service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quick repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are met for crew and environment.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory procedures.
