Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn, train, and lead food preparation to ensure delicious, safe meals. You’ll supervise back-of-house and front-of-house teams, maintain inventory, and help develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.

You’ll model Chipotle’s Food With Integrity, keep the kitchen clean and well-stocked, and drive excellent customer service and throughput while upholding safety standards and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Have restaurant experience.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and arrange quick repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventory documentation.
