Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food prep, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become Kitchen Leaders.

You will ensure food quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen as a role model for Crew members, promoting teamwork and an excellent customer experience. The role focuses on cooking to order, inventory awareness, and coaching teammates to uphold Chipotle’s standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment; ensure repairs are made promptly.
• Ensure kitchen and crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
