Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will train Crew members, maintain a clean, well-stocked kitchen, manage inventory, and ensure equipment is properly maintained, all while promoting teamwork and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Has high school diploma
• Restaurant experience required
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure timely repairs
• Ensure safety guidelines are met to prevent injuries or accidents
• Complete MSDS and FIFO processes
