Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, ensure quality and safety standards, and train Crew members for future leadership roles. You will manage cooking practices, maintain inventory, and promote a strong team atmosphere while delivering an excellent guest experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you will be hands-on, stay on your feet during peak hours, and contribute to Chipotle’s mission of serving delicious, responsibly sourced food.

Qualifications

• Must understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong back- and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well organized.
• Maintain equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory records.
