Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in the United States to coach Crew, learn to grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring delicious food and safe kitchen practices. You will order ingredients, train others to become Kitchen Leaders, and exemplify teamwork daily.

The role focuses on keeping a clean, stocked, and well‑maintained kitchen while delivering a great customer experience and helping the team meet station goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory, address quality issues.
• Support strong team dynamics between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well‑stocked; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Assist in maintaining safety and injury prevention in the kitchen.
• Assist with MSDS and FIFO processes.
