Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in the United States to learn and supervise food preparation, manage inventory, and train Crew for future Kitchen Leaders. You will model teamwork, ensure safety and quality, and drive a great customer experience daily.

The role emphasizes maintaining clean, organized kitchens, proper equipment maintenance, and strong communication with both Crew and customers to hit service and throughput goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure repairs are done quickly.
• Ensure compliance to safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO documents.
