Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food prep, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while upholding quality and safety standards. You’ll supervise a busy line, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and ensure the kitchen is organized, stocked, and efficient to deliver a great guest experience.

Responsibilities include cooking to order, managing inventory, coordinating back- and front-of-house teams, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe to use.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
