Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and guide crew in preparing great food, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and leading a team to deliver an excellent guest experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee food prep, inventory, and equipment maintenance while fostering a positive, efficient kitchen culture and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair as needed.
• Ensure the kitchen and Crew meet guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
