Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You’ll order food and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, while upholding quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll help ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well stocked, and that equipment is maintained. The role emphasizes training, guest service, and operating with safety as priority.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
