Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and execute food preparation, grilling, and sautéing to deliver delicious food. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders while ensuring quality, safety, cleanliness, and efficient service.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock, monitoring food safety, and fostering teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house teams to provide a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to order.
• Order food and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure food quality, safety, and proper kitchen sanitation.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure service.
• Monitor inventory and MSDS compliance; FIFO practices.
• Ensure injuries/accidents are prevented through safety guidelines.
